While the Pyramis organization was formed in 2005, Fidelity has been managing money for institutions for 45 years.

Young Chin is chief investment officer, Equity and Alternatives at Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. In this role, he oversees the firm’s portfolio management, research, and trading functions. Fidelity is one of the world’s largest providers of investment management, retirement planning, brokerage, and human resources and benefits outsourcing services for individuals and institutions. Pyramis, with approximately $187 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2013, focuses on investment products and solutions for institutional customers.

Mr. Chin joined Pyramis in 2006. He previously served as president and chief executive officer at Gartmore Global Investments and co-global chief investment officer, Equities at Gartmore Group in Conshohocken, PA. In these dual roles, he oversaw investment units in the U.S., the U.K, and Japan with assets of more than $80 billion. Prior to joining Gartmore, Mr. Chin was a managing director, head of Equity Management, and a director of Equity Management Research for Brown Brothers Harriman in New York from 1999 to 2001. Previously, he served in a number of roles during the formation and building of PNC Financial’s asset management business, including serving on the management committee of BlackRock. Over a period of 14 years at Harris Bank in Chicago, including eight years serving as a director of a quantitative investment consulting service, he worked with more than 400 investment organizations that included investment advisors, pension plans, endowments, and foundations. He has been in the industry since he began his investment career at Harris in 1978.

Mr. Chin earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics and his master of business administration in finance from the University of Chicago. He holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly NASD) Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.

Michael Palermo is senior vice president, head of Relationship Management at Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. In this role, he is responsible for overall relationship management for institutional clients at Pyramis. Fidelity is one of the world’s largest providers of investment management, retirement planning, brokerage, and human resources and benefits outsourcing services for individuals and institutions. Pyramis, with approximately $187 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2013, focuses on investment products and solutions for institutional customers.

Since joining the firm in 2011, Mr. Palermo has played a significant part in building and executing a strategy to establish a greater presence for Pyramis in the endowments, foundations and Taft-Hartley markets by developing and implementing strategic and operational sales plans in these critical markets. He has been an active and valuable member of the Global Sales Work Stream effort. Prior to joining Pyramis, Mr. Palermo was senior vice president and director of Sales, Consultant Relations and Marketing at The Boston Company Asset Management from 2005 to 2009. Prior to assuming that role, he served in two different business development roles as a senior vice president of Sales and vice president, senior sales representative at The Boston Company Asset Management from 1996 to 2005, and Boston Safe Deposit & Trust Company/Mellon Trust from 1990 to 1996. In those roles, he was responsible for marketing and client service for corporate, public and Taft-Hartley pension plans, endowments, foundations and sub-advisory entities. He has been in the industry since 1990.

Michael A. Jones is president and chief executive officer of Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. Mr. Jones joined Fidelity in March 2012 in his current role. He also serves as the chairman of Pyramis. Fidelity is one of the world’s largest providers of investment management, retirement planning, brokerage, and human resources and benefits outsourcing services for individuals and institutions. Pyramis, with approximately $187 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2013, focuses on investment products and solutions for institutional customers.

Mr. Jones joined Pyramis from Columbia Management, where he served as president. Before joining Columbia in 2006, Mr. Jones was co-president and a senior managing director at Robeco Investment Management from 2002 to 2006. From 1995 to 2002, he served as chief operating officer at Boston Partners Asset Management. From 1982 to 1995, Mr. Jones worked at The Boston Company, serving as chief operating officer of Asset Management.

Mr. Jones earned his bachelor of arts degree in history from Colgate University.

Maureen Fitzgerald is head of North American Institutional Distribution at Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. In this role, she is responsible for U.S. and Canadian sales and global consultant relations. Fidelity is one of the world’s largest providers of investment management, retirement planning, brokerage, and human resources and benefits outsourcing services for individuals and institutions. Pyramis, with approximately $187 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2013, focuses on investment products and solutions for institutional customers.

Ms. Fitzgerald joined Pyramis in 2012. Previously, she was with State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), where she served as head of the Institutional Client Group for North America, directing the service and expansion of client, prospect, and consultant relationships. Prior to this role, she served as head of U.S. Institutional Sales and Global Consultant Relations. She has been in the industry since she began her career at SSgA, where she held numerous positions in sales and consultant relations, in 1994.

Ms. Fitzgerald earned her bachelor of arts degree from Boston College and her master of business administration degree from Babson College. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Pyramis Global Advisors Trust Company and Pyramis Global Advisors, LLC. She holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly NASD) Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.

Charles McKenzie is global head of Institutional Solutions at Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company. In this role, he leads the creation of custom solutions designed to meet the specific needs of retirement plan sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and high-net-worth investors. Fidelity is one of the world’s largest providers of investment management, retirement planning, brokerage, and human resources and benefits outsourcing services for individuals and institutions. Pyramis, with approximately $187 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2013, focuses on investment products and solutions for institutional customers.

Mr. McKenzie joined Fidelity in May 2012 to lead the Global Asset Allocation Institutional Solutions group, assessing the needs of institutional clients and ensuring the capabilities of the Global Asset Allocation division are appropriately aligned to meet their needs. Prior to joining Fidelity, he served as president and chief executive officer of DG Capital Management, a privately owned registered investment advisor, from 2009 to 2010. Prior to DG Capital, Mr. McKenzie was chairman, chief executive officer, chief investment officer, and chief marketing officer at OFI Institutional Asset Management (“OFII”), a subsidiary of OppenheimerFunds, from 1999 to 2009. He helped build, and eventually led, the institutional division at OppenheimerFunds. Over his six year tenure as chairman and chief executive officer of OFII, institutional assets under management increased from approximately $2 billion to nearly $20 billion. Mr. McKenzie has also held investment, consulting, and management positions with MetLife Investment Subsidiaries, Wyatt Asset Services, Hewitt Associates, and Unum. Most recently, he served as a member of the Geode Capital Management Board of Directors before taking his role within Fidelity’s Global Asset Allocation division.

Mr. McKenzie earned his bachelor of arts degree in mathematics, political science, and education from Bates College and his master of business administration degree from the University of Chicago. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner professional.
